days. No, no, no. This is quite different. So who better to bring in and talk about it with

then NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry, an old friend of mine from back in the day when I used to

cover those were the good times at Chilli Stadium.

How are things going for you?

You know what, Ruthie, it is slightly different.

We don't expect 12 wins anymore.

We don't have Ruthie Polinsky to keep all of our

spirits high. So it is a little bit of a downer at times. But it's also interesting times here, too,

because the transition is so significant away from Bill Belichick to Gerard Mayo, away from

Tom Brady, and then Cam Newton and then Mac Jones into this guy that everybody hopes is the future here in Drake May, a quarterback.

So while it has been rough just in terms of the football quality at times, it still is an interesting follow, that's for sure.

It's interesting and it's new and it's full of stories.

And I think let's start there because I'm so curious about this post-Belichick era.

And I think, you know, a lot of people think, oh, new head coach, new structure in the front office.

But it's, there's a lot of similarities, I think, that you could also draw between kind of this same regime in a lot of ways. How would you describe
