Hey there, I'm Chelsea Davis, your host for this week.

I'm usually on the other side of the mic, as Suitapod's audio producer.

But today, I've clawed my way into the sound booth like a Pontipool zombie.

That's how much I love Christy Nogel's fiction. I just had to host our reissue of resilience.

We ran it back in 2020 with a fabulous cat day on the host track.

Today, though, we're bringing this story back to glorious, hideous life,

in honor of Christy's forthcoming short story collection promise.

That hits bookstores on September 12th.

Speaking of Christy, she's the author of the Shirley Jackson Award nominated and

Bram Stoker Award winning first novel, Bula, from Cemetery Gates Media.
