Evaluator was originally published in A Breath From

the Sky in 2017 as included in her 2023 short fiction collection called

No One Will Come Back for Us and Other Stories. It is the first of Primi's

stories to appear in Ellen Datlow's annual, honorable mentions for her best horror of the year

anthology. Primi Mohamed is a Nebula, World Fantasy,

and Aurora award-winning Indo-Caribbean scientist

and speculative fiction author based in Edmonton, Alberta.
