Welcome to Horror Movie Club, the show where two dudes who are not quite nerds but not quite nudes, choose a horror movie each week to rate and review.

I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are discussing Psycho from 1960, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, written by Joseph Stefano based on the 1959 novel by Robert Block, starring Anthony Perkins,

Janet Lee, and Vera Miles. In this film, a woman abscondes with a stolen lot of cash

from her employer and stays at a cheap motel where she discovers that its enigmatic

proprietor has some serious mommy issues. If you're new to the show, we're going to talk about

this movie, spoiler-free for the

first 20 or 30, probably about 20 minutes, and then we'll transition into spoiler mode. We'll play

a little transition music. That's when you know to get out and go watch this if you haven't seen it,

and we'll walk through the plot in detail. There are some people that don't watch the movies and only listen to us,

and I think that we're probably going to end up, at least for one person, revealing the

iconic ending of Psycho to people.

Oh, you think, like, during the Spoiler session, or the Off Front session?

I think somebody out there is going to, for the the first time learn the ending of Psycho from us.
