I am Chris Willis and I'm joined tonight by my good friend Stephen Taubber.

Stephen pitchers and catchers have reported first workout scheduled for Thursday.

It's been a long offseason, but baseball is back back Baseball is back man it's so much fun that we're finally here I don't know why it seems like the um you know it's only like a tour it's only like a three or four month off season it's not that long of an all season compared to the season but it just drags forever, and especially because the Braves typically get

their stuff done pretty early. So there's usually a pretty good lull at the end of the winter.

It seems like it takes forever to get here. But we are finally here. Pitchers and catchers reported

today, position players, a lot of whom are already there report later in the week and we're going to

get this thing going and i can't wait yeah there's nothing better than seeing those tweets of guys

throwing running you know working out it's just a it's a sign springs coming you know and it's

right around the corner so but you know as the brays get to work down in northport there's a few storylines going in i but, you know, as the Braves get to work down in Northport, there's a few

storylines going in. I remember, you know, back during the rebuild, it was like when we

sat down to talk about storylines, you know, they'd be, they'd be almost 10. But for a roster

like they've got right now, you know, it's not that, there's not that many huge decisions to be made.

But there are a couple, and I think we'll talk about that, a couple of those tonight.

And, you know, just to kind of set the stage before the first full squad workout.

But I think the biggest storyline is probably the fifth starter spot.

And I know you and I talked a couple of weeks ago that, you know, we thought

Bryce Elder would probably come to camp with a little bit of an edge. But, you know, heading

into camp, it seems like a couple of the beat riders, I know Justin Tuscano, Mark Bowman in

particular, I still think it might be Renaudo Lopez. And, you know, I've been thinking about that about that I can I've got a reason why I think

that does make sense but you know what do you I want to see what you thought about it yeah I mean

it's I think I think Lopez probably has a little bit more ceiling than elder does as a starter. I know Lopez is not a young guy.
