Well, welcome back to the podcast. I hope you're all having a great summer. I have been ridiculously busy this summer.

We've been remodeling three different rooms in our home, and I've got to be honest, it feels so good to be productive and to get some

projects accomplished that I've been neglecting for the better part of a year. It has literally

made the summer fly by, which is why I haven't checked in. Like I said, I would. But believe it

or not, season three is just around the corner. And in the next few weeks, I've got to start

preparing for it.

But today I felt compelled to bring you an episode that is long overdue.

Almost a year ago, someone messaged me asking that I do an episode on New Age teachings

because if you haven't noticed, there's been a lot of these ideas circulating on mainstream

platforms recently. And quite a few of these ideas circulating on mainstream platforms recently.

And quite a few of these concepts are beginning to take hold in the church.

So I think where I want to start today is to define paganism and give you a little overview of it

so that as you hear messages or conversations happening around you, you can spot it easier.

Now paganism is a broad term that generally refers to the religions or spiritual practices

that don't align with monotheism.

Monotheism is the worship of a single God, and the monotheistic religions are primarily

Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, all of which

interconnect biblically and can be traced in biblical history as having followed after a single

god, the one and only God, the creator, the Alpha and Omega. Paganism, on the other hand, is really rooted in the idea of multiple

gods. Pagans are therefore polytheistic. They follow and or worship many different gods.
