Everybody, welcome to the writing room.

We're so glad you're with us again.

If you've got a book in you, our goal is to get it out of you.

We hope that the times that we bring people on and have conversations,

not only give you an insight into them, but then a little bit of a peek into the writing process.

And today, I actually get to interview Kim Stewart, who has authored eight or nine books,

has a new book out called Star for Jesus and other jobs I quit.

And if you know, Kim, you know, she has a quick wit and it just promises to be this book

that will make you think about faith and grace and all that. So Kim, this is just so fun to be doing

the writing room together with you. It's so fun.

I feel like it's just the craziest, most fun job and not job I've ever had, Bob.

So what we did in anticipation of this, we asked people to send in their questions.

So in no particular order, I'll ask the questions and the hope.

Is it somebody listening to this?

Is it some place in the

process, whether that is like pre-contemplation or that they're just finishing up the manuscript

and sending it in. But the goal would be that there'd be something else. So the first question

was skipping ahead a little bit in the process. You've got your manuscript done. How do you get a literary

agent? And that literary agent, for those of you listening, will be the person that goes to a publisher.
