Hello and thank you very much for downloading the Scotland Outdoors podcast. I'm Mark

Stephen. As you probably know, normally this podcast is based on a live radio program we do for BBC Radio

Scotland called Out of Doors. And what we normally do is take

it a bit and rejig it and give you the podcast. Because of the current situation, lockdown,

we're getting a lot of feedback from listeners all around the world. And it seems daft to exclude

that from the podcast. So for the foreseeable future, this is what you're going to get. You're going to get the

live program as the podcast. And this is what we got up to this week.

Hello, how are you doing? I'm Mark Stephen here at Beach Grove Garden in Aberdeen. And essentially,

the rain has stopped, but they're still high cloud. There's the occasional

patch of blue. Cherry trees are in blossom across there. The copper beach is actually coming

out in leaf now so that's a really nice, almost a soft pink colour at the moment and the beach

leaves are just the most gorgeous colour of lime green. Fantastic. Joining me this morning, Mr Ewan

salad this wood they are fantastic in the garden said the spell's been broken this i was going to say

the sun's gone there's actually about a blue sky peeking out now and especially after the sunniest April on record
