enemy lines. Tonight's episode, The Unreasonable Elder Bednar. Elder David Bednar of the

quorum of the 12 Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has just completed

a two-part talk in which he seeks to do his level-headed best to provide a means of defending

the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Part 1 was given back in August of 2022 and he

just recently completed part 2 of that major address. The backyard professor, aka Carrie

Scherz, had me on his show recently where I suggested that we should talk about Elder

Bednar's address and because we wanted to do a deep dive and not give this talk short

shift, we devoted an entire episode to dealing just with part 1 of Elder Bednar's talk.

We had a number of technical difficulties with the live stream of this show, so I have

gone back and spent no less than 6 hours now, editing what was originally a 2 hour and

38 minute podcast down to just over 2 hours. I think all the work I've done editing it has paid

off and this presentation is much more streamlined than the original. This is such an historic

address by Elder Bednar that I felt it very important to do a response to it and so devoted

MI2 this cause that I spent 6 hours over the last 3 days, producing this podcast so hopefully

it will be ready for prime time. I am recording these words on the morning of November 24th,

2022, thanksgiving. Well that's enough of an introduction for now. Let's go to the discussion
