Happy New Year and welcome in to another edition of Inside Michigan Basketball.

It's great to be here after an awesome day yesterday.

The Michigan men rolling at home against Northwestern, the Michigan women taking down

Northwestern in Evanston.

Terry doesn't get much better than that, does it?

No, it doesn't. I mean, that's the way you want to start the new year off.

You know, having both teams come out and get wins. And I mean, I'm talking about decisive wins.

I mean, we might have started off, you know, kind of a little shaky, but once the ball got rolling,

I mean, they were on fire.

Yeah, no doubt about that. The men winning it convincingly inside Chrysler Center,

the women going on the road. We will talk about both of those games and what has been an interesting last week or so for both programs. On the men's side, we'll have assistant

coach Saudi Washington. On the women's side, the return of head coach Kim Barnes-Zerico,

as the women's team had to deal with some COVID-19 related issues.

But they've bounced back in a big way with a two-and-o week.

We'll talk about all of that with her.
