What's up? How is everyone doing? I hope this moment is finding you reasonably well.

I'm curious. How many of you listening to this right now who are teaching yoga classes on a regular,

like you've got at least one weekly class that you teach, how many of you who would fall into

that category, consider yourselves professional yoga teachers.

Like would you say to someone, I'm a professional yoga teacher?

Or better yet, how many of you think of yourself as having a career in yoga?

I know that it's like a semantics thing, you know.

What does it mean to be professional?

I've discussed this on the show that for me,

I don't think being professional necessarily means that you make your living teaching

or you make money teaching that I've known many teachers who I consider to be professionals,

like highly skilled and effective yoga teachers who don't make their living at it.

So I feel like you can be a professional yoga teacher

without it being like your main source of income, you know.

But when you think of the word career

that does seem to imply like you make a living at it

and I was looking at the dictionary definition

and it was sort of alluding to like the possibility
