It is Monday, March 31st. The first day of jury selection for Lori Daybell there in Arizona. It has been 2090 days since Charles Vallet was shot and killed

by Alex Cox, and it is time for justice. After they were finished this morning with going through

jury questionnaires, there was a big hearing to address a lot of the outstanding motions that need to be ruled on in this case now that we are officially at trial.

And y'all, it got wild.

What I've noticed since Lori started representing herself is when she disagrees with something

that's being said or doesn't like the answer, her voice starts to project. And it almost gets

to the point of her yelling. And today was no different. I'm going to make a prediction that at least

once the judge is going to have to send this jury out when she gets worked up. We know Lori doesn't

like any of the state's witnesses and she will be cross-examining them. So it's going to be such an

interesting trial. I am most likely leaving Saturday to go out. I'll be there for openings

in that first week and then maybe back and forth a couple of times. I want to there for openings in that first week. And then maybe back and forth a

couple of times. I want to be there when the defense case starts. I have a feeling Lori will take the

stand, but we will see. Let's jump into this hearing. It's going to be a little bit of a longer

episode. At lunch, they had 52 potential jurors in the jury pool just from the questionnaires. Tomorrow
