Summary

The defense case beings with lots of arguments outside the presence of the jury. Zachary's defense strategy was stopped before it started with the judge's ruling. Christina's daughter was going to take the stand in Zack's defense until the judge's ruling.

0:45.0	have allowed the defense that Zach was going for to come in. He was looking to put up a defense

0:54.9	It is the defense to liability for an alleged crime that is in defense of a person other than oneself.
1:02.5	In other words, Zach admitted to killing Christina Parcell.
1:06.9	The jury heard this today.
1:09.0	And the reason that he was going to put forth is because of the concerns that the child was in imminent danger of being abused.
1:17.8	So let's look at the argument that happened outside the presence of the jury and not on the live stream about whether or not to allow Zach to get on the stand and use this defense.
1:28.3	The defense says that they're entitled to pursue a defense of others' case.
1:32.3	If the person who was being protected had a right to self-defense, the person who acted had a right of self-defense.
