Stevie Nicol, of course, the first leg of the Caravar Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Spurs would take place today,

and it will be Spurs who will take a 1-0 lead to Anfield for that second leg.

The game, not without controversy. There was There was Var of course, which wasn't

available in the quarterfinals. Bergval with a challenge on Simicast already on a yellow card,

looked like it should have been a second yellow, wasn't given Simicat off the pitch receiving

treatment. Spurs then go up the other end and it's Bergval who gets the goal that gives Spurs that one-0 advantage.

And to rub salt in the wounds as well, Liverpool fans felt that Curtis Jones was found in the box and they should have had a penalty.

It wasn't awarded late on so it finishes.

Everyone is talking about the incident and the second yellow. Let's go over that first.

And one of the reasons we're talking about an incident is because how bad a game it was,

because there really wasn't that many other incidents anyway. But it just so happened that this incident is what defined the game

and what separated the two teams, because both teams were as bad as each other.

Referees got it wrong.
