Dear sugars, my boyfriend and I met at a wedding about six months ago.

Upon meeting we had this insane connection.

He gets me, I get him.

Oftentimes we say we're literally the same person.

My boyfriend has struggled with addiction to pain medications often on for a couple of years.

When he told me, I did two things.

I accepted his past and I was very firm about where I stand on the issue given that I have a two year old son.

Who means more to me than any man ever will.

My boyfriend promised me that his addiction was behind him.

Two months ago I began noticing behavioral changes.
