My guest today is Rebecca Solnit, who I don't think really needs any introduction, but I'll

just say that she's a writer, historian and activist, who's the author of 20 books on

feminism, Western and Indigenous history, popular power, social

change and insurrection, wandering and walking, hope and disaster, and most recently,

the mother of all questions. Rebecca always makes me think very deeply and very empathetically,
