a sad thing happened comedian Brody Stevens took his own life.

He was one of my friends.

We weren't very close, but I looked up to him a lot, and he encouraged me to make my stupid

videos.

I mean, they're not stupid.

I just like using that word.

But he was always supportive and accepting

of my unorthodox path into show business.

While other comedians looked down and resented,

quote-unquote, influencers, Brody Stevens always showed love,

and he was one of the first people on Vine and I admired

him back then and I saw who's making Vine's and I was like, all right, cool.

Maybe Vine is cool.

Maybe I'll keep doing this because of Stephen Brody, Stephen's

yes, push and believe. Those are some of his catchphrases. He was a truly unique person and also unique comedian.

Probably the hardest I've ever laughed at Stand Up is from Brody Stevens and it's just very sad that he has left us.

He suffered from a lot of depression for many years.

He was also openly bipolar one.

So, you know, I'm sure a lot of you, a lot of us can relate to that,

just the darkness and the heaviness.

So I don't want to get too depressing.
