0:19.2	Pope Francis dead at age 88. It was kind of shocking
0:23.2	to wake up to you. Even though we knew he was not in good health, he had had double pneumonia
0:27.6	and been hospitalized for some five weeks in mid-February. I mean, we knew he wasn't doing that well,
0:35.8	but it seemed like he was past the worst of it and maybe
0:40.8	was getting a little better, or at least on the road toward getting a little better. And then
0:46.4	Cardinal Kevin Farrell somberly came out this morning and stated at 735 this morning,
0:52.2	the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the House of the Father.
0:57.6	There's no official cause of death released as of now, but as I said, he's been suffering from
1:02.7	these chronic lung issues, and then beginning in February, he was in the hospital for
1:06.5	some 38 days with these respiratory issues. Amazingly, you've seen this maybe by now, yesterday,
1:13.7	just yesterday, he appeared in his wheelchair, in like the back of the Pope Mobile. I don't know
1:22.7	what that is. I'm not exactly sure of the vehicle on Easter Sunday.
1:28.4	Look at that.
1:29.7	It's kind of amazing in St. Peter Square.
1:32.2	And one of the last people to meet with Pope Francis was Vice President J.D. Vance, pretty
1:38.9	incredibly.
1:40.0	The vice president had a brief meeting with the pontiff yesterday,
1:46.7	where the pair exchanged Easter greetings and gifts,
1:49.1	Mr. Vance telling Pope Francis he prays for him daily.
