we're talking about remote viewing and the US government's psychic spying program

Stargate. The government wanted to find out if psychic powers really exist and, if they do,

whether they could be used to help our intelligence agencies like the CIA. The psychic power that

seemed most promising was known as remote viewing. The intelligence agencies were so intrigued

that they established a secret project known as Stargate. The scientists were working with

psychics. Who is the first one that they brought into their studies? His name was Ingo Swan.

Swan was the single most important psychic because he was responsible for key developments in the

study of remote viewing. In fact, even though the scientists worked with a number of different

psychics, we're going to keep the focus on Swan because he's the main connecting thread.

At the commencement of the experiment, a disinterested third party would randomly select an envelope.

Swan would be given the name of the city thus selected and then would provide his impressions of

the current weather there. Swan correctly got the fact that Tucson was having very unusual weather
