and the Lee Professor, I think, in the Graduate School of Civilization, Western Civilization.

Dr. Ray, it's so good to see you again.

How are you?

I'm just fine.

I have a book coming out in two weeks, so I'm about as happy as can be.

What is the name of the book?

It's called the Sparta's Sicilian Proxy War, and it's about the Sicilian expedition

in ancient Greece from a Spartan perspective, and when writing it, at least in the last

stages, I thought a lot about proxy wars, including Korea for the Russians, Vietnam for the Russians,

Afghanistan, the first round for us, Afghanistan, the second round for the Pakistanis, Iraq

for the Syrians and the Iranians, and, of course, Ukraine.

So it's, yeah, oh, yeah, Dr. Ray, that is so fascinating.
