Yes, we have podcast royalty Jane Marie on. Every time I talk to her I'm like I can't believe how much

shit you do like I just can't believe that like she's just like a six she's just a very successful

person in a way that I admire and like don't find gross you know like which is very difficult

for me honestly it doesn't come off gross it really doesn come off gross. Like she's talking and she doesn't

brag about any of it. It just comes across as she's talking about things. And then she mentioned

that she was a foster parent on top of all the other things. Yeah, she's just cool. She's just

cool. So a good, just a heads up to listeners. We talk a lot about her interview with Mark Marin, which came out last week or two weeks ago. I don't know. Three weeks ago last month. I don't know. It came out recently. She did an interview with Mark Marin. And that was sort of the stepping off point for this for this episode because I found it really interesting to have

a person I'm fairly close to be interviewed by Mark Marin and then the backlash she got just

because she was a lady on his podcast. I thought was fucking interesting. Yeah, interesting and

gross. And gross. Thanks too much of herself. It's just like, thanks too much of herself. Like God, God forbid, God forbid any of us should actually be coming from a place of emotional strength. And own our accomplishments. Like, God forbid we're not like and, like, oh, you know, I did it.

But, you know, it was, I didn't feel that great about, you know, like, just making ourselves small, small, small, small, tiny little ladies.

Yep.

It's, it's, there are so few models for it, you know.

There are just so few models for, like, being really successful and being really confident and not taking shit and not getting

shit and not being a gross monster so like that's the only model for it is like the the lean-in bullshit

yeah the Cheryl Sandberg that's it you have that model of like girl boss strutten around like

yeah but that always feels so performative to me.

So it's like where where do you go with especially at our ages? Like we've done we've seen and done a lot of shit. And yet the world so wants to treat us like they're their little girls. Yep.
