I'm your host, James Early, as always.

And once again, I am joined by my good buddy and fellow film and history aficionado,

Sean McIreiber.

Sean, we've got a really different movie from the one we talked about last time, right?

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, so we're going to be looking at another classic, although, you know, not super well-known to modern audiences.

This was yet another movie of several that we're going to be discussing that came out in the 1950s.

It's an American film from 1952, and it's called Retreat Hell with an exclamation point at the end of the word hell.

And that is based on an actual quote that was very famous from the Korean War.

We'll talk about that later.

So again, as we always do, I will talk about just the basics of the film.

And Sean will maybe give us some interesting tidbits and trivia background, anything like that,

and then we'll jump into the plot and sprinkle in some actual history as we go.
