I remember I used to watch late night with Conan O'Brien back when it was on NBC and they had Robert

Smigel. He would do... like they would have Bill Clinton up on a screen, but they would leave his

lips out. Yes! And Robert Smigel would be... the voice of Bill Clinton. Maybe I just come on. Who cares?

I just sat in the peace treaty! Yeah! It was great! I loved it. That was a real good example of how

uncanny it is to see just a human's mouth and not any other part of that human being. It's very

just one of the most upsetting visuals that you could imagine. It's like... I watch a Sergio Leone

movie called Duckie Sucker and there's an extended sequence of all these rich people eating on a train

and he just... for like a good two or three minutes, Leone just goes tight on all their mouths as they eat

and chew their food and say bad things about poor people and stuff like that. And you would not

see that in a modern movie because it's so fucking gross, but it's really effective. I'm like, I need

these people to get shot and robbed and they do get robbed. And leaving cleaf comes through and makes
