dropped my kids off at the bus and we had such a shaker. We had such a crazy

earthquake. Well for me it felt crazy. This was my first time that I got a

notification saying you're about to die. It doesn't really say that the notification is like it's like an amber alert or on your

phone and it says and I'm going to tell you something really fast.

No too any if you're out there and you work for, let's see here,

hold on one second. If you work, there we go, you see, there we go, USGS.

I'm trying to think what that could mean. You, United States geography seismograph?

Something like that.

If you work for USGS, I have a better idea for you

because they send an automatic notification,

which is amazing, amazing technology for 2024. And apparently this is like really we're 10 years

behind Japan apparently in Japan this has been going on forever but it gives you like a

little heads up and depends one of my friends got a 10 second

heads up he said and then today I got it and then it started shaking but it says

emergency alert earthquake detected drop cover hold on hold on, protect yourself.

And I thought to myself, wouldn't it be nicer?

If the message said, love, we're about to experience an earthquake.

I want you to take a deep breath, calm down, you're

gonna be okay. Hold on to your phone and make sure that you call someone in

that you love. Let's go through this together. Take deep breaths. One, two, three, and like Zen, this sent me into such an anxiety attack. It was the worst. I don't know if it's better to get a heads up before you potentially are going to die or you just, you know, get

notified in the moment. That was my Thursday morning. how was yours?
