Richard Coddingham was born on November 25th, 1946 in the Bronx, New York.

So let's get into some history for that time.

In 1946, the world was finally at the end of World War II,

and people expected life to get better. They had endured of course the war, but also the Great Depression,

the Dust Bowl, and many, many other hardships all over the world.

The General Assembly of the United Nations held its very first meeting.

The 51 original members met at the Westminster Central Hall in London, England.

They adopted their first resolution which would deal with the new issues arising from atomic energy and nuclear weapons.

UNICEF, or the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund was also established in 1946.
