I love hip hop.

I've been listening since I was like third, fourth grade,

buying CDs and singles, you know, at Sam Goody at Fred Myers.

And for me, man, I can count on one hand. Obviously,

I got my favorite rappers. I got my, you know, the people who do it for me in terms of

nostalgia, right? But every once in a while a rapper comes along and the bars that they're dropping, they just got a certain degree of potency a certain amount

of wisdom that's attached to it that really gets me locked in but also puts the game on notice

so nipsy hustle was one of those for me like you guys

know i was up on nipsy early introducing you guys to i did a whole week of of uh of bars i broke down

his whole album when it came out i mean because the shit that he's speaking is just too it's too

dense man it's got so much wisdom attached to it

it's not just talking shit so the nipsy hustle types you know the beanie seagulls styles p

and that again that potency has to do with the wisdom the clarity and the power behind the bars

so for me man rick hyde the interview that you guys are going to listen to right now,
