They are.

They're in a lose, lose, lose spot because they overpaid for Deshawn Watson.

It maybe seems like they might get out of that contract.

They trade for Kenny Pickett. They trade DTR to the Eagles.

They get Kenny Pickett in the last few days.

Kenny Pickett comes out today and does a little presser, little media scrum here.

And he says that the Browns told him he'd have a chance to compete for the starting job.

Sure, you can compete, Kenny.

But also some notes that was the bigger takeaway here was Charles Robinson from Yahoo

says that the Falcons are trying to squeeze the Browns and the Steelers by trying to trigger a Kirk Cousins $10 million salary for 2026, trying to push Kirk onto those two teams because obviously he has great connections with Stefanski in Cleveland and the Steelers if they lose out

on the Roger situation they may be looking for Kirk rather than going back to Russ.

There's a little carousel of quarterbacks that need to be dealt with here and Kirk's one of

them, Russ is one of them, Rogers is one of them, the Giants are open, the Steelers are open,

the Browns seem to be open. And I think what

it's all hinging on Alex, it feels like is the damn Minnesota spot. It feels like if Minnesota wants

Rogers, Rogers wants Minnesota. That's kind of where I'm reading between the tea leaves right now.

And I think to me, it all ties back to Kirk.

Oh, just back to Kirk. Just back to the Kenny Pickett thing.
