Hi there, it's Danny Howard

and it's time to bring you

another mini-mix.

This one comes from Danish DJ and producer Sam

who we've been loving on Radio 1's

dance party recently and over the last couple of years.

We've been loving rinsing their track Spotlight

with Sarah Akumu,

which covers the iconic Jennifer Hutton track from 2008.

So it only felt right to invite them to take centre stage and make us a mini-mix.

The theme of Sam's mini-mix is my old school roots,

and they said I wanted to make a mix representing the various classic sounds

that inspired me to make music and strive to become a versatile DJ.

Expect to hear the likes of Armavent Helden, Paul Johnson, and Shermanology in this one.
