I just finished the new Bigfoot book by first-time author John O'Connor titled The Secret History of

Bigfoot, Phil Notes on a North American Monster.

This is a book about Bigfoot and the people who hunt for it, and since the whole episode is me chatting with Karen

about this, I'm not going to front load the intro

with more details, except to say, I enjoyed the read.

And when you and I were throwing around ideas, I was really intrigued by the suggestion that you made for today's show and a book review of sorts I guess.

Yeah I mean often what we do to prep for the show but so here's a little behind the scenes is we will read

things and watch documentaries or pay attention to news stories and just find

general ways that sort of monsters intersect with the world.
