before I actually get into what I wanted to talk about. Scott Bissent, the Treasury Secretary,

has said that the president intends to reduce the tariff on China before talks with China commence.

The president will go first before the Chinese do anything to show good faith on our part.

The markets are rallying.

The Dow up 625, S&P up 114.

In other words, the Dow is up 1.6%, S&P up 2%, NASDAQ up 3%, which is great, and the bond yield is falling, which is good.

So also, the president says he has no intention of altering automotive tariffs at the moment.

We'll reconsider it, but is not going to change them
