close to my heart, an athletic director. He's won national titles at both Graysson University

Great stuff. So let's dive in. We're going to talk about the book, but give the folks a little

background where you're from, where you grew up, and how you ended up in this line of work.

Yeah, you know, I was born in Guyana, South America, and like many carabiners, you know, my family immigrated to Canada.

I grew up a gym rat, a jock, played every sport imaginable, athlete of the year of my high school, went to the states on a soccer scholarship and a track

scholarship after flunking out a university and hit it from my parents. So there's the confidence

part comes in. I was lucky enough to win a national championship, met and married my wife

over there. After that, became a professor. She studied sports psychology, really interested on the mental

side of the game. That's where confidence comes in, became a director of athletics,

have coached national teams, Olympians, World Championship teams. And I'm currently the

vice president of student affairs at Wilford-Lorea University here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
