Today, we are reading Deuteronomy 7 through 10,

and I am back in the podcast studio with Watermark students.

What is your official?

Good question, Emma. I am the director of Shoreline,

our high school ministry. And your name is. Will McElroy. And Will, you've been on the podcast a few times before. Yes. But I know we've got quite a few new listeners this year. And so would you

share briefly a little bit about what God's done in your

life and then introduce today's topic? Sure. I'd love to. Like you said, my name is Will McElroy.

I grew up in Weatherford, Texas, which is a small town outside of Fort Worth. And I went to even

in a smaller school called Pisa High School. How many kids in a graduating class?

There was 54 kids in my class.

It was a public school.

It was like a little farming community.

And I had a great childhood.

But to be brief, I was not close to the Lord.

Classic, went to church every Sunday, went to youth group on Wednesday nights, but didn't care much for it.

And I found my validation, Emma, and the love and praise of others.

And when I got to college, I had strict parents growing up, which was a good thing.

And we'll actually kind of talk about our topic of discipline in a little bit.

But when I got to college, I was like, you know what?
