And before we jump into the passage, we'll be in 1st Samuel 5 through 7 today.

But before we get there, I'd love for you to just share a little bit more about your story, how you came to know the Lord, and what God's been doing in your life.

Sure. So I've been living in Dallas for the past year. It's been awesome. Got married, my senior year of college moved down here.

But I came to know Jesus at a young age. I was six years old, so I grew up in a Christian home and my parents were faithful in the way that they taught us the scriptures.

And so I really felt like I had a true encounter with Jesus at a young age.

But throughout my life, I experienced his goodness, his graciousness, and that cemented my

belief in him. And even though I went through peaks and valleys in times where I was

in moments of sin and seasons of

sin, the Lord brought me out of that and showed me its grace. And so now I'm here now and love
