0:27.5	this section of scripture. And today we have none other than Kylin Perry, executive director of
0:33.4	the porch. Welcome, Kylin. So glad to be here. Thanks for having me. You ready to dive into some weird
0:38.2	sections of scripture? I love that this was the section y'all picked up for me. Yes, I'm excited to do it.

0:48.4	first time on the podcast. That's right. All right. So why don't you introduce yourself, tell everyone a little bit of your story, and then what you're doing here at Watermark. Yeah. So my name is Kyle and Perry, the director of the
0:58.0	porch. Yeah, and I think just like a little helpful background is I've been here for just under a year
1:03.4	and a half. I've been in ministry now for, gosh, the last seven years, all of which have been
1:08.5	focused on young adults, anywhere between the ages of 18 to 40 years
1:12.6	old. But I was the most reluctant minister ever. I did not want to go into ministry. I graduated from
1:18.1	Texas A&M University. I'm not going to do it. I gave you the chance if you're listening.
1:23.3	And then I went into corporate. Like I graduated the business degree. I wanted to make some money
1:29.0	and a name for myself. And yet God just in his gracious kindness and patience called me into ministry
1:35.8	over the long haul. I made the switch and haven't looked back since. Awesome. And a new dad?
1:41.8	I'm a new dad. Yes. Yeah. I have a son. His name is Cash. He's the best.
1:46.4	A wife, Brooke. She's amazing. And, yeah, fatherhood has been fun to figure out.
