and I'm so excited to be diving into God's Word together.

Today I'm gonna focus in on Second King's chapters nine and 10.

So I'm gonna reach into tomorrow's reading

because the story that I wanna focus our time on is the life story of King Jehu,

which spans between today's reading and tomorrow's reading. But before we get there, I want to tell you a brief story.

A few weeks ago, two of my closest friends and I went away for a weekend. And during our kind of weekend getaway, one of my friends suggested and

recommended that we watch an action movie. And so we were all up for that. And we scrolled and

picked a movie that none of us had heard of or had seen and we clicked play. And as the story

began, we quickly realized this was not the movie that we thought it would be or that we probably should be watching because it was this action-packed movie, an advertisement, but in actuality, it was so violent, so gory.
