I'm Amber Hunt, a journalist and author, and in each episode of this show,

I'll examine a case that's maybe lesser known today, but was huge when it happened.

This is crimes of the centuries. The bus driver was in his underwear when he was told to climb down the ladder and into a dark hole. He had no idea where he was headed or who was waiting for him when he got there.

He did know that it was 3.30 in the morning because the men who had taken him

had not asked for his watch when they took his clothes from him.

He knew that even if the worst awaited him. It was best he went first because he sure didn't want any of the 26 children waiting to follow him down there to be alone in that dark place.
