We started to read Proverbs in episode two of season four, "We Have The Key To Life" and we are continuing to read through it starting in Proverbs 25. As followers of Jesus, we are called to treat everyone with unconventional compassion and love and the Lord blesses us when we do so. "If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you." 0:45.0	guys we're gonna read the Bible together that's like one of my favorite things to do
0:49.2	with you guys is actually just read the word of God because like we've said before sometimes actually it
0:55.8	should be all the time that's enough the word of God should actually be enough for us
1:01.8	that is food to our souls and our minds and our hearts.
1:06.6	And so I would love for you guys to join me.
1:09.4	If you have a Bible nearby, I think it would be really great for us to do this together and follow
1:16.5	along together. If you don't have a Bible near you that's okay you can definitely
1:20.5	just listen to the word of God but But like I said before in other episodes
1:24.4	where we just read scripture, I would advise
1:27.6	and I think it would be the most effective
1:29.9	if you're actually reading a Bible.
1:31.4	So I know it's easier to just have somebody kind of
1:33.2	read it to you and feel like you got your dose of the day, but please don't
1:36.8	count this as your quiet time with the Lord. Don't count this as your time of being in your Bible.
1:44.4	Of course it's an honor that I get to read it to you guys and, you know, any way we could take
1:49.4	the word of God, I mean, we'll take it.
1:51.4	So it's better than nothing but also I really think it would be great
1:56.2	for us to just be intentional and and open it and read it and feel it and look at it and underline it and highlight it and write notes.
