Hello everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with coffee on ice. I am

your host Ali Yost and I am so thrilled to be here with you guys. Happy Friday! Happy Christ with Coffee and Ice Friday.

Thank you guys so much for tuning in this week. I just pray that this episode

blesses you guys, that we are looking forward to spending some time together with Jesus and the

plan for today is we are going to be reading scripture. We've been doing that a lot

this season which is actually really fun. I just feel like I've had this revelation with the

Lord lately that we have a lot of sermons available to us, right?

There's a lot that are available, you know, on podcasts.

There's a lot that are available on YouTube.

And as much as those things are so good I've said that even here on the

podcast you know it's good when Ali talks and gives feedback and we talk about

certain topics and we back it up with scripture. I think that that's always good.

But there's just not a lot out there for our generation that's one relatable, doesn't make us want to fall asleep.

That is just reading

scripture so I'm excited to do that again today I know that honors the Lord I know

that the Lord is really excited about us sitting down and reading his word because more importantly

The thing that we should all be rooted in is the word of God I think that it's obviously really good to respect and look up to certain spiritual leaders in our generation and generations from the past of course, but most importantly, word of God. So I'm excited. I think it's going to be fruitful. We are going to be reading from the Gospels today. I felt it on my heart that we were going to be starting the book of John

girl I don't know if we have we're gonna read the book of John many times in our

lifetime we're not just gonna read it once or twice or three times even ten times. We're going to read it multiple times because the word is what? Alive? Right. The word is living and it is alive. And so it doesn't matter how many times you've read

John I know it's gonna hit you right in your spirit man because that's what it's made

for the word of God is alive and it will always speak to us.

It will never grow old, it'll never grow numb, at least if it does, we need to pray that away in Jesus'
