So I hope all is good in this current strange situation that we still find ourselves in.

This podcast is going out in April 2020 and we're still in the thick of the coronavirus pandemic. As I say,

hope all is good despite the obvious for you. I am doing this from my home studio once again,

like I mentioned on the Murder Most Fowl episode. So I can only apologize if there's a slight drop in

audio quality, I mean, most people won't care about it. But if you're a bit of an audio geek like me,

then you'll be absolutely furious that the microphone occasionally pops. So I can only apologize

about that. But I thought I'd rather do the episodes than not do them at all. So let's go back

and have a look at another part of Bob Dylan's religious periods. Let's have a look at the second

album of that so-called Born Again period. This is 1980s saved.

By Dylan's 20th studio album, he was in the thick of his Christian period, a period where the dust

had settled. Dylan and God was now public knowledge, a union put out in the open. He was a religious

man and he wanted to sing about it. He'd take this to the extreme on tour just prior to this

album's release. On it, Bob refused to sing any of his previous compositions. No like a rolling

stone, no tangled up in blue, no blowing in the wind, nothing. He would elect to play only songs

from his forthcoming album and his predecessor Slow Train Coming. A typical set list would look like this.
