I sent over the episode, said,

man, this is a really long book.

And I was like, get used to it, Dahl,

because we're not even a third of the way into this bad boy. I mean what are we a

quarter in? Maybe a quarter or so maybe a little bit more than that but yeah I

mean she sounded so distraught.

It's a really long book, she said.

She's not loving it.

You know, Robin, who I love, is not loving an American tragedy. And it sucks for her because she's stuck with it for the next couple of years.

I don't know how you guys are feeling about it. I hope better than Robin.

Personally, I'm enjoying it.

Maybe it was her backhanded way of saying she doesn't like me anymore.

It's possible.

And I wouldn't blame her if that were the case.

But as for the book, I mean, it's just one thing after another with this Griffiths clan.

Getting into all kinds of scrapes and troubles as they make their way across the

psyche of the American landscape,

because that's really what this is about.

It is a cross-country exploration of the American

psyche and all that it entails.
