Season 4 in American Tragedy.

I am your host, your friend, your lover,

and literary Mansplainer in chief, Michael,

Ian Black, and really nothing going on. I mean, you know, usually at the top of the thing, you know, I kind of tell you what's going on in my life, really nothing. You know, I'm home, been home, will be home for at least a couple weeks.

Oh, I am going to New York City next week.

I forgot all about that.

That just popped up for another secret project.

Secret only because there's a job out there that I'm in consideration for,

but I've got to go and talk to people about that job.

Maybe it'll come to fruition, maybe it will not, but I will get a free

unwanted trip to New York out of the deal. Not that I don't want to go to New York, but I

have no interest in going.

You know what I mean?

It's like if somebody's dangling at the job, you want you will you come to New York?

Yeah, I'll go to New York. Do I want to go to New York?

Not really. Do I mind going to New York?

Again, not really. What I'm trying to elucidate here is a fair amount of indifference

regarding the trip to New York other than I would like to get the job because as you know I have been unemployed for going on I think 13 years

13 years of unemployment

So it would be nice to secure myself some income before, you know,

before utter destitution sets in.
