You should separate staging and production environment very, very carefully.

That's obvious.

What happened then is we sent out a test picture of two dogs to every user that was in our system.

Every user received a push notification on their phone with a picture of the two dogs saying high and test.

That was a huge, huge scrub.

And we had to inform all of our customers.

And really until today, it's an emoji in slack, and it's still an anecdote everybody knows.

But the question is always when a severe bug is happening, who let the dogs out?
