What's up, guys? Rick here with your preview for this week's Sanderson Farms Championship.

The President's Cup was awesome last week. And clearly, if you're watching this on video,

I'm still very much on the road. So coming to you from Montreal in my hotel room, but the show must go on.

The tour is headed to Jackson, Mississippi. We are going to take a look at the golf course,

the full field, and everything that you need to know using data, logic, and reason.

I'm not going to waste any more of your time. Let's just jump right into this.

Before we get to my tools, let me just show you the satellite imagery here for the country club

of Jackson. And there are just some golf

courses no offense to our friends who are members here no offense to this tournament or anything

like that but there are just some golf courses that you can look at from a thousand feet and see

there's not much there's not much nuance here there's not much to this golf course. It is fairly wide open. You can hardly see where the rough begins and where the fairway ends. It has very non-penal two and a half inch Bermuda rough that might get to three inches by the time, excuse me, the week goes on, but it is,

it is just not penal at all. I would not necessarily describe this golf course as tree lined.

There are a couple of holes that do have some sides that are tree lines, but it seems that

there are plenty of bailout spots, and there's a good chance that if you do miss the fairway,

even more so by a significant margin, you're going to have a pretty clear path to the green.

There are technically, I believe there are five holes with water in play, though we could debate whether or not the water is actually all that in play on most of those. You can see it's just kind of a smattering of

bunkers, very flat, very straight golf course, hardly any dog legs out here. There is not a huge

penalty for missing the fairway. And I think that bears itself out in a lot of the winners

and players that have played well at this golf course over the last handful of years. So that's

the eye test. Does the eye test match up with what the stats say? And here's the start of my website,
