Summary

We open with a somewhat disturbing call from a woman whose white boyfriend visits "wack shacks" when he travels. He hires Asian sex workers to submit to race play and degradation. She approves of him indulging his various kinks outside of their relationship, but this?  It's the classic conundrum: the caller has a big wiener and his boyfriend has a small one. A dildo is not quite a penis. What can they do? Our guest is the fiery, foul-mouthed, anti-cheating avenger Tracy Schorn a.k.a Chump Lady. The hideous experience with her ex-husband set her on a crusade against deceit. She and Dan spar over cheating, and divorce. A rival neologist, she calls Dan's word "tolyamory" "Orwellian dipshitery." Dan has finally met his match, and the polite but spirited debate calls for a big ole bowl of popcorn. A little on the Micro, the whole thing on the Magnum. See you there.  And, a woman mulls over the rancorous end of her previous relationship, when she asked her girlfriend's family to quiet down during a noisy 3am party. Her girlfriend's brother lit into her, and an all-family brawl ended the relationship. Now, years alter, the ex wants to apologize and reconnect. Was the caller wrong to speak up at that fateful holiday gathering?  Christmas is going to be SO wack this year.  [email protected]           206-302-2064 This episode is brought to you by Liberator: makers of pillows, shapes and furniture for new exciting sex. well, there's nothing you can't ask on the Savage Lovecast.

The New York Times had a story this week that I wanted to highlight because it

0:26.4

confirmed a couple of my priors.

0:29.2

There's been a lot of that going around in the last two weeks.

0:31.2

A lot of people out there looking for stories that confirm their priors.

0:35.6

And I guess I'm no exception.

0:38.3

But I didn't find this particular prior confirming story in the news, politics, or opinion

0:43.1

sections of the paper, which is where most people are finding stories that confirm their

0:47.7

priors since Kamala Harris lost the election to Donald Trump two weeks ago.

0:52.5

Nope, I found this piece in the travel section, and it's not about the election or fleeing

0:57.0

the country.

0:58.3

It's about, well, it's about tourists who travel to places to have sex with other tourists.

1:05.9

The New York Times can't call it sex tourism because that term has very negative connotations. Sex tourism is

1:12.9

typically used to refer to people who go someplace far from home to commit a sex crime, which

1:18.5

forced the New York Times editors to go with a somewhat clunkier descriptor of this piece. This story

1:24.1

about tourists going places to have sex with other tourists, maybe a local or two,

1:29.4

isn't a story about sex tourism.

1:31.1

It is a story, according to the editors of the New York Times travel section, about how,

1:35.6

quote, the tourism industry has embraced the sexual wellness trend in the years since the

1:41.0

pandemic ended.
