I'm Rajs-Sundu, a correspondent usually based in Westminster, but also in my house at the

moment. And my name's Emma C. I'm a journalist writing for a Times Educational Supplement,

and I'm based out of my house in Galish Hills.

Hello, Emma. Thank you very much for joining the podcast. We've also got Matt Cox producing from home today.

Emma, we've got you on because education has become such a big subject in Scotland in the past,

what, a couple of weeks, a week or so. And actually, as well as my podcast role, if I put on my other

hats, I've started to help cover education stories for BBC

Scotland. So this is a very interesting time for me as well. But you've been an education

reporter for a lot longer than me.

Yeah, I've been at this time for over a decade, which is shocking. The other day my

birthday at times, educationallement came up on our

internet, so I've done 13 years now. 13 years is a lot longer than two weeks, which is what I've

been doing before. I mean, an interesting time though in education in Scotland in particular right now.
