host of the show, Kara Santa Maria. Now before we dive into this week's show, I want to thank those of you who continued

to make Talk Nertie possible throughout all of the upside downness that's happening in the world right now. But I will say the same thing that I said

last week, which was that, you know, right now it's true, this is pretty much my only source of income and although I just like deeply deeply appreciate the support from those of you who are buying cool merch, you know, I'm still shipping all of that out, or those of you who have gone to

Patreon.com slash talk nerdy and pledged your support or continue to do so. I also very much recognize and

very much appreciate that we're all in the same boat right now and many of you

are struggling really heavily financially and because of that I not only don't want

to encourage anybody to support right now who doesn't but also if you're in a position where

Cancelling your your Patreon or cancelling the ongoing the support that you've had is the best financial decision for you right now. I really do

encourage you to do that. Not only are there no hard feelings but like oh my

gosh I only have love for you and I want everybody to be in a position where they can get through these next several weeks,

maybe even a couple of months.

You know, none of us really know how long this is going to last, and we're all in this
