Well, as those who have been listening to way down in the hole from the beginning are

day ones or even if you were day two or five, I guess you know that we end every

season by doing an awards show where we hand out major awards for some of the

scenes and characters that have entertained us all season. So no season is

officially complete until we do the awards. And so that's what we're here to do.

But first now that you have rewashed it for the umpteenth fifty-leavened time,

then is season three still your favorite season? It is. It is still my favorite

season. I will say that there is more build up to season three than I

remember. There are more episodes that kind of get us. I think season three really

really in the last maybe four or five episodes more so four really puts its

foot on the gas and no and away no other wire season really does. But having

said that, I still think that season three for me is the most monumental season

because it has the Barstill Stanfield War as the rise of Carchetti. It is both a

season where so many loose ends are tied up, but it's also a transitional season. It

transitions the wire into the post-Barstill era show that it came to be, you know.

Season two we talked about is the season that switched things over to the new

sort of dynamic of the wire. But season three is really the one that kind of

starts to kind of give you that multifaceted kind of looked at the show takes

on in in four and five. And you know when you look at so many major things that

happen, the death of Stringer Bell, the re incarceration of Avon Barstill, you

know, all of those things going on in a way it's maybe the most eventful wire

season, you know. Season five we're going to have very very difficult time making
