you only have to wait a few more weeks.

And I'm going to tell you the exact release date at the end of this trailer.

So you've got to keep listening to our next two big announcements.

First off, we're actually going to make some changes

to our release cadence. If you've noticed, we normally release one season of weekly episodes,

and then we take a break for up to a year. And that's because it takes a lot of time and money

to make a compelled episode. In fact, you may not realize this, but every episode of compelled

you listen to easily took 60 hours to create.

We believe that these stories are worth telling with excellence, and so we produce them with excellence, beginning from day one.

All of our interviews are recorded face-to-face in person with the guest.

No Zoom calls or Skype, it's always face to face. And an interview can last

anywhere between two to four hours and length. But of course, most folks don't want to listen

to a four hour conversation. So we edit them down to about 45 minutes. But determining the

most powerful elements in a person's story and then organizing it in a way that's understandable and compelling

takes a special talent, which is why I'm so grateful for the team that helps us create these

episodes with their giftings in editing, writing, and sound engineering. And that's why we take

such long breaks in between our seasons because it's so time intensive and all of us have regular full-time

jobs that we do outside of compelled.
