preach my funeral, assuming he's not the one who kills me, and even then, I'd probably still let him do it, but he called. He

happens to be running for president, and he called in the aftermath of the first debate in Wisconsin and said, let's chat. Let's chat on your

podcast. So yes, today is Thursday. Yes, today is the day that you get to hear Mary Langston's angelic cadence, but you'll have to wait until

comedy kind of kind of came up. Suddenly, like lots of good things in life, do had a friend said, look, I'm willing to come on your podcast. I know you need some help with your

rating. So let me, let me come on your podcast and you're probably sitting there thinking, well, you probably have more than one friend. I do, I do

have, I got a couple. I got friends that don't know how to call into a podcast. So you can rule them out. I've got friends that only get one phone call

a day. And my advice to them is to place that call to their lawyer. I've got friends that aren't up yet. I do have one friend that is

actually running to be the president of the United States. And he was on the debate stage and was constant and he'll be on subsequent debate stages. And I

had some questions on what it asked. And I'm trying to channel what questions you might have for someone who is running to be the leader of the free

world. So with that, if you hadn't guessed it already, the Senator from the great state of South Carolina, Tim Scott, how are you?

Congressman, it's always good to be with you. It's good to see your face. I hope you're doing great. You're funny to dig into them. I must

concede you're one of the funniest guys in all of show business.

Well, I don't know what I said that was funny. Everything I said was true. I have to make your money.

I everything I said was true. All right. The most old off is something easy. You're an introspective guy. What did you learn about

yourself? Now, before I get you to answer that, you spoke at the Republican National Convention. And there were a lot of eyeballs on you.

Why didn't you mean in the aftermath of the big of the public and convention you think about the rebuttal to president by those first

address. Um, we've had some big events. Absolutely.

I would say those are a little bit different because almost, I mean, you were asked to do that.
