Summary

We underestimate the degree to which our present behavior and our present living are determined by what we believe our ultimate future to be. Christian hope affects everything, every area of our lives. That means Christian hope, our understanding of the future, revolutionizes our whole attitude toward sex, romance, singleness, and marriage. This passage in 1 Corinthians 6 is outrageous in all sorts of ways. It shows us 1) Christianity gave the world a revolutionary view of sex, 2) Christianity gave the world a revolutionary view of singleness and marriage, and 3) how Christian hope radically reshapes our view, our actions, and our attitudes in this area. 0:08.2	Christian concept of hope is a life-changing joyous certainty of future with God. Today
0:13.8	on Gospel in Life, Tim Keller is teaching about Christian hope and how what we believe

0:22.8	The scripture reading this morning is found in 1 Corinthians, the 6th chapter, 13 to
0:28.9	21 and 7th chapter, 27 through 31. Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, but

0:48.2	and the Lord for the body. By His power, God raised the Lord from the dead and He will
0:55.2	raise us also. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ Himself? Shall I
